Sip and Shop... why not?
This past saturday I was able to attend a sip and shop fashion show, hosted by my good friend Christen. The event was located at this bomb new boutique, Illicit vintage rag, on Bellona Ave. If you haven't have the opportunity to stop pass I highly suggest you do so. Christen's event was a major success and I was so ecstatic that I was able to assist. Attendees had the opportunity to sip and shop simultaneously, and who doesn't love a two for one deal with a glass of red or white wine on the side? I most certainly do! I was able to snag some major peices myself from I-wear by Raqui, Alexis Rose Showroom, and the lovely Skymints. I can't wait for you guys to see how I will rock them but that will be saved for another day and another blog post.
Christen requested that I help with the fashion show portion of the event and I happily obliged. We came up with a small routine for them to wow the audience the day of the event. I am going to post a short video on my instagram page @ParkerJai_ , sometime this week. Be on the lookout for a project I am developing in relation to future modeling coaching, so please stay tuned.
Pictured here are two of the models whom were featured in the Fashion Show, and I'm a little dissapointed I didn't get a chance to catch a photo-op with the other two models. The ladies looked so amazing. Styled by Jasmine and Monique of Stylist United. Unfortunately, I had another event to attend prior and was a little late but still loving the results nonetheless. A big kudos to Christen again on such an amazing event!
I decided to go with a simplistic look for the night, with a hint of BANG. Hence my draped choker/kimono. Of course I had to make a statement because its a fashion show DUH! I wore an all black simple satin dress from forever 21 and paired it with a black chokered chiffon draping from Boohoo. Simplicity done right! Share your thoughts below on my look for the evening.
