The Accessory Approach

Is there ever such a concept that indicates over accessorizing? My answer to that would depend on one’s own personal style and what limitations they have set for themselves in order to be comfortable. I don't wear too many accessories and I tend to take the "just enough" approach.

With this look of the day or night (LOTD), I paired my not so basic white shirt underneath a fuzzy, and amazingly warm, sweater with a set of two toned jeans that I cut slits in. Do you own a pair of old jeans that you don't wear much because you think they are tired and dated? Create your own DIY project by sprucing then up a tad. All I did was cut a slit across the knees, creating a totally different look. First I tried the jeans on before cutting them because THE LAST THING I would want is to destroy the entire project because I put a cut in the wrong place. I added a pair of rugged, distressed polka-dotted tights underneath my jeans for added flair. Adding those subtle touches with my hat and the tights, created a not-so-trendy but still fashionable look. You can't even begin to guess the number of compliments I got with this particular fit.
